All 21 Probably Stolen achievements with unlock conditions and practical routes, including Rock Bottom, Clean Hands, Lab Pure, 10 machines and the buyout.
Probably Stolen Achievements: All 21 and How to Get Them
Probably Stolen has 21 Steam achievements. Most are milestones you will hit naturally by playing the economy, but a few require a dedicated run: the hidden rat start, the Rock Bottom challenge, a no-contraband finish, and the Lab Pure chemistry grind.
This page lists every achievement, what it asks for, and the practical route. For the run-ending conditions, see endings. For the hard-mode setup, see difficulty.

Clean Hands, Aug Hunter and Snitches Get Riches pull in different directions. Plan separate runs and save the challenge starts for last.

The easy milestones
First Steps is unavoidable if you finish the tutorial. Authorized comes from buying a business licence, which most legal builds need anyway. Keys to the Kingdom and Prodigious are buyout achievements; the second is a speed goal.
Comfortably Afloat and Swimming in Credits measure estimated total wealth, not cash. Inventory and machines count. A shop with a full warehouse can hit 10,000 before its bank balance does.
Jackpot depends on the scratchcard minigame. It is luck, not skill. Buy cards when you have spare cash, not when rent is due.
The appraisal achievements
An Eye for Value requires 10 perfect appraisals. A perfect appraisal means your estimate matches the item's true value. Use the appraisal guide and start with simple items: aluminium hands, standard cartridges, and clean Ribwich.
Lower Levels Special requires changing a label with the labeler. This is a crime-adjacent action; do it on a run where you can absorb the reputation hit.
The production achievements
Say My Name requires Lab Pure drugs, which means 99%+ purity. You need a Chem Finisher with enough modules to remove contamination and clean inputs. The chemistry guide explains the tier math.
Green Thumb requires a Huge Nutrifruit from hydroponics. Water quality, nutrients, and a healthy plant are the levers. The Hydroponic System has seven recipes; keep testing until the large fruit appears.
Cranked to Eleven requires +250 Quality on a machine. Stack Quality modules in a machine with a good discount, such as the DNA Manipulator or Hydroponic System. The module list has the machine discounts.
Industrious requires 10 machines running on the same day. This is a late-game capital goal. Buy machines that serve a purpose; ten idle machines still count, but they will not pay for themselves.
The reputation achievements
Diplomatic requires maximum reputation with any faction. Pick the faction whose customers already visit and route requests toward them. The bar runs to +200; the exact rank threshold is not published.
Snitches Get Riches requires reporting 10 criminals. This raises Security standing and hurts Black Market standing. Do it on a legal or Security-friendly run.
Aug Hunter requires killing 10 augmented citizens. This is a violent path with a security record. Do it on a run where you are not trying to keep a clean record.
The challenge achievements
We Have Rats! requires the hidden rat start. The start is not listed in the normal nine; it is unlocked through play or a specific choice. Check the scenario menu after a few runs.
From Nothing requires finishing from Rock Bottom, the no-equipment start. From Nothing, the Hard Way adds the hard-mode constraint. These are the hardest achievements in the game because you have no capital and no machine.
A practical Rock Bottom route:
- Sell anything you can scavenge.
- Take appraisal commissions for cash without inventory.
- Buy only fast-moving water or food.
- Avoid machines until you have a rent buffer.
- Use the money guide loop, not a speculative buy.
Clean Hands requires finishing without selling stolen or contraband goods. Water, food, licensed guns, and legitimate resale can fund the buyout. It is the opposite of the Fence route.
Achievement order for a completionist
| Phase | Achievements |
|---|---|
| First run | First Steps, Authorized, An Eye for Value, Comfortably Afloat |
| Mid game | Keys to the Kingdom, Shiny, Cranked to Eleven, Green Thumb |
| Production | Say My Name, Industrious, Swimming in Credits |
| Challenge | Rock Bottom pair, Clean Hands, We Have Rats! |
| Violent/social | Aug Hunter, Snitches Get Riches, Diplomatic |
Do not chase the violent and clean achievements in the same run. They pull in opposite directions.
